Assiniboine Park Zoo – South Entry

Project Journey

The south entry at Assiniboine Park Zoo serves as the main entrance to the zoo and consists of two wings centred upon a tall atrium.  The wings contain a gift shop, washrooms and administrative offices.  The central atrium features tree-like metal columns that branch outward as they ascend.

Crosier Kilgour had the privilege of providing structural engineering services on this striking project, including the design of the cold-formed steel components.
