Completed in 2014, the Thompson, Manitoba campus of the University College of the North, provides a centre of excellence for post-secondary education in northern Manitoba. Programs in nursing, business, and trades are held for approximately 600 students. The two storey high open connection to the Thompson Regional Community Centre, allows for shared amenities. Some of the unique aspects of the building include:

– Full height atrium space with pedestrian bridges, a free-standing stair case, and skylights for natural lighting.
– Green roof area creating a park-like setting above the daycare wing.
– Tiered lecture theatre with sloped soffit above main entrance
– Use of steel piles, structural steel framing, and precast hollowcore panels, allowing shorter site construction times.
